About the Photographers
Marlee Fitzgerald, Senior Photographer
Marlee and her husband Glenn have been married for over 20 years.
They have two beautiful daughters. Maranda attends Frostburg State
University. Mariah attends Allegany College of MD. Glenn and Marlee
are also the owners of Old House Country Treasures. Both are located
in the same building.
Born in Altoona, PA, she moved to Keyser in middle-school. An alumni
of Keyser High School, and also having a degree in nursing, she
now resides in Rawlings, MD, just one mile from the WV state line
and two miles from life images studio in Keyser.
Her sister Marcella of Marcella Kile Photography and photographer
for the Mineral Daily News Tribune, was fatally injured in an accident
when they were both in their early 20's. For years after that tragic
moment in Marlee's life, her family and friends encouraged Marlee
to step out and to start making something with her own talent. By
then Marlee had years of freelance photography experience herself.
A few years after her sister passed on, she understood that no one
thought of her as trying to replace her sister or her work. It gave
Marlee the peace and realization that she and her sister shared
a common bond, an interest and inherent talent.
Marlee came to the point that she could not keep up with both her
nursing career and the growing demand of the photography business.
She then opened her own studio in 2002. She continues to do volunteer
nursing but has placed that profession on hold. As the Senior Photographer/Owner
of Life Images Photography, Marlee hopes to one day volunteer her
nursing and photographic skills in the missionary field abroad.
She recently signed to volunteer for UNICEF. Once Marlee is free
to travel, her desire is to work with third world countries fighting
hunger and disease, with a focus on children. Having taken three
years of Spanish in high school, she would like to broaden those
language skills if the opportunity arises.
Marlee loves to capture the smiles of children and of a family
together, the innocence and curiosity of animals, the personality
of each of her subjects-especially Senior High Grads, in their expressive
age, and a couple in love on their very special day!
Besides Marlee's love for photography and animals, Marlee enjoys
traveling-anywhere-if even for a day. She enjoys being outdoors,
planting trees and watching them grow over the years, picnics, a
long day at the beach, lots of sunshine, a walk in the moonlight,
walking & hiking through the woods, writing/journaling, spending
quality time with her family and friends, and time playing in the
yard with her dogs-especially her BF-Yorkie named Bitzy. She also
enjoys her Conure (small parrot) named Kiwi, who has lots to say.
As an animal rescuer, lover & photographer of all animals-mostly
K-9's and Birds, she captures many of God's creature's best poses.
Having several dogs herself, mostly rescued, she says that getting
that special photo simply takes patience. She believes God placed
domestic animals on earth for all of us to enjoy, and to be true
companions to us.
Marlee was once a Girl Scout, and a leader in Girl Scouts while
her daughters were growing up. She knows first hand how important
volunteering is, as she can tell you many stories of how volunteers
have touched her own life, and how giving to others has been a blessing
to her.
She has no doubt that her faith in Christ is the reason she has
accomplished all that she has in life. Marlee's faith has seen her
through many moments that would have otherwise been unbearable.
Her hope is that you know or may come to know the Peace that passes
all understanding.
Annie Dellinger, Associate Photographer
Annie Dellinger has been a true asset to Life Images. She brings
with her a youthful outlook and creativity as well as photography
training from Allegany College of Cumberland, MD. Her fresh ideas
are just what we like in a photographer.
Recently she moved out into the real world on her own. Working part-time as a Sales Associate for Walmart, Inc, and assisting her father on occasion with the family business, "Here to Help" (a construction and remodeling company of Bloomington, MD,) she is able schedule Weddings, Senior Portraits and other events.
Annie was raised in Bloomington, MD. She is a graduate of Westmar High School of western Maryland, not far from Deep Creek Lake. Her family enjoys quality time at their cabin at Deep Creek.
Annie has enjoyed a camera and taking photographs since she was
a young girl who also danced for Keckley's Dance Studio, played
piano and took clarinet lessons. She is a member of Mt. Calvary
Luthern Church. In addition to her faith in God, she enjoys meeting
new people as well as making new friends. She is easy going, friendly
and eager to please the client.
Destinee McKone
"Destinee McKone is our newest photographer with a wonderful
outlook on life that is apparent through her photographic eye. She
attended Potomac State College then became a mommy. She has two
rambunctious little boys. Destinee manages life images studio through
the week. She shoots weddings, senior portraits and event photography.
While young and hip with the times, Destinee has a sweet demeanor,
a strong faith in God, and a willingness to go out of her way to
make the best of photography. I truly enjoy having her work with
